The Low Income Housing Coalition of East Kentucky, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit corporation that exists for the purpose of providing safe, decent and affordable housing to low-income families. It is funded by federal, state, and local agencies and receives donations of money, materials, and volunteer labor from private individuals, groups, and businesses, all of which are essential to the achievement of its stated purposes.
LINKS serves a five county area in the Big Sandy Valley and offers a variety of programs, including small loans at low interest rates, home repairs by volunteer groups, certified credit counseling, and, of course, new home construction.
